A proud graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, Kent founded Gravity Systems in 1997 with a vision to make IT support “friendly, fast, and frustration-free.” Over the last 30+ years, he has grown the company from a local startup into a multi-regional firm serving Austin, Houston, and Phoenix.
Leadership Philosophy:
The “No Handcuffs” Rule: Kent pioneered the company’s signature Month-to-Month contract model, believing that an MSP should earn a client’s business every 30 days rather than locking them into long-term agreements.
The “Pod” Model: To combat the impersonal nature of IT support, Kent structured his teams into dedicated “Pods,” ensuring clients always speak to technicians who know their specific history.
Personal Life: When he isn’t solving complex infrastructure challenges, Kent is an avid drummer and outdoor enthusiast, bringing the same rhythm and energy to his business leadership.
